The Campaign for Trinity Commons

For generations, Trinity has been a pillar of the community and a welcoming place of faith. Our buildings are where we gather, grow, and serve. Today, we invite you to be a part of its future.

Trinity Episcopal Church of Long Green stands out because of its history –now building on two centuries of fellowship, service, and faith. We have stewarded the church building well, investing in its structural integrity, systems, and surrounding grounds to ensure it continues to serve our core mission for centuries to come.

The Parish Hall is now ready for a renovation! 75 years since its construction, and 35 years since its most recent major update, it is showing its age through failing systems, worn finishes, dated design, and lack of functionality of space for some of our modern uses. As the role of the church as a community institution evolves in today’s world, it is essential for Trinity to remain relevant to thrive. We aspire to serve both our Trinity parish community, as well as the Long Green Valley and surrounding communities at large, through Trinity Commons. We need a gathering space that is an attractive and modern complement to the historic and reverential church. A space where friendships are formed, people feel at ease, and good times are had will strengthen the bonds of our existing community, and build curiosity among newcomers about the church that is just across the way.

Investing now in Trinity Commons will support Trinity’s efforts to remain a healthy
and thriving church community well into the future.

Future Plans

The renovation of the parish hall will enable us to continue our traditional events while anticipating sharing the space with the Long Green Valley community. It will create new opportunities for both revenue generation and community service. We will honor our past while moving towards a flourishing future. By solidifying our place in the community as a place where all are welcome, we hope to encourage visitors to join us for Sunday service and eventually become active members of Trinity Church.
